Heute Morgen entschied ich mit dem Bus nach Ischia Porto zu fahren um
ein Stativ für mein neues iPhone zu kaufen... Ich liebe die Fotografie und habe
normalerweise immer meine grosse Nikon Kamera dabei. Nun hab ich mir aber ein
neues iPhone mit 3 Kameras geleistet und hoffe, dass es wirklich gute Fotos
schiesst und die ewige Schlepperei ein Ende hat! Da ich aber ab und zu auch auf
meinen Fotos erscheine und nicht nur Selfies machen möchte, wollte ich vor
meinem Abflug am Flughafen Zürich ein Stativ kaufen... leider war das nicht
mehr möglich, wenn mal in der Abflughalle ist... Als ich auf Ischia am einem
Sonntag ankam, waren ebenfalls alle Geschäfte bereits geschlossen... : (
This morning I decided to take the bus to Ischia Porto to purchase a tripod for my new iPhone... I love photography and I usually have my big Nikon camera with me. But now I have bought a new iPhone with 3 cameras and I hope that it really takes good photos and that the endless hauling is over! But since I want to appear in my photos every now and then and don't just want to take selfies, I intended to buy a tripod before my departure at Zurich Airport... unfortunately that was no longer possible once I was in the departure hall... And when I arrived on Ischia on a Sunday, all shops were already closed... : (

Nach dem Frühstück machte ich mich auf zur Bushaltestelle und nahm den
Bus Nr. 5 nach Ischia Porto, der alle 20 Minuten fährt. Der Buschauffeur
leistete Millimeterarbeit mit dem vielen Gegenverkehr auf den schmalen Strassen...
alle wollten zum Maronti Strand! 50 Minuten später erreichten wir den Hafen, wo
sich ein Chinesenladen befindet und ich ein tolles, kleines Stativ fand, das
man überall verstauen kann - für EUR 2.50. : )
After breakfast, I made my way to the bus stop and took bus number 5 to Ischia Porto, which runs every 20 minutes. The bus driver did a precise job with the many oncoming traffic on the narrow streets... everyone wanted to go to Maronti Beach! 50 minutes later we reached the harbour where there is a Chinese shop and I found a great little tripod that can be stowed anywhere - for EUR 2.50. : )

Da ich schon mal in Ischia Porto war, unternahm ich einen Spaziergang entlang
der Via Roma (Prachtstrasse Ischia Portos), dann der Küste entlang bis ich das
Castello Aragonese vom Cafe Odisseo aus bewundern konnte... aber auch hier
hatte es zu viele Leute für meinen Geschmack und zudem war es unerträglich
heiss, so dass ich den nächsten Bus zurück zum Maronti Strand nahm um mich in
den Thermen des Hotel La Gondola (http://www.hotellagondola.it) und im Meer zu erholen...

Since I've already been to Ischia Porto, I took a walk along Via Roma
(Ischia Porto's boulevard), then along the coast until I could admire Castello
Aragonese from Cafe Odisseo... but there were too many people for my liking and
it was unbearably hot, thus I took the next bus back to Maronti Beach to relax
in the La Gondola (http://www.hotellagondola.it) hotel's thermal baths and the sea...
