Aphrodite, Apollon, Eros & Marilyn
Heute war ich eingelanden in die Therme Aphrodite Apollon (https://miramaresearesort.it/aphrodite)
in Sant Angelo. Und zwar von Salvatore
und Francesco, die ich auf meinem letzten Aufenthalt hier auf Ischia im Mai
letzten Jahres kennen gelernt hatte. : ))
Ich war aber bereits vor 20 Jahre zum ersten Mal auf Ischia mit meiner
Mutter und Tochter, in einem Hotel in Ischia Porto. Damals haben wir fast alle
der 5 grossen Thermenparks besucht, nur die in Sant Angelo nicht... und nun
komme ich doch noch zum Zuge!
Today I was invited to the Terme Aphrodite Apollon (https://miramaresearesort.it/aphrodite) in Sant Angelo. By Salvatore and Francesco, whom I met on my last stay here on Ischia in May last year. : ))
I was on Ischia for the first time 20 years ago with my mum and daughter, in a hotel in Ischia Porto. At that time we visited almost all of the 5 large thermal parks, but not the ones in Sant Angelo... and now I have the chance!

Zu Fuss dem Strand entlang bei Ebbe benötigte ich 15 Minuten vom La
Gondola (http://www.hotellagondola.it) und wurde ganz freudig erwartet. Voller Stolz zeigte mir Salvatore sein
Reich: ein Thermalbecken um 30 Grad mit Massagedüsen, einen Wasserfall, ein
Kneippbecken, das Eros-Becken mit reinem Quellwasser (38-40 Grad), einen
Nacktbereich und die Sauna, die leider zur Zeit geschlossen ist. Aphrodite Apollon
ist eine grössere Anlage mit mehreren Pools auf verschiedenen Ebenen, so
verteilen sich auch die Leute besser! Die Stunden verstrichen wie nichts
während ich das Baden und Ausruhen im
natürlichen Schatten der Bäume genoss...
It took me 15 minutes to walk along the beach at low tide from La Gondola (http://www.hotellagondola.it) and I was eagerly awaited. Salvatore proudly showed me his realm: a thermal pool at 30 centigrade with massage nozzles, a waterfall, a Kneipp pool, the Eros pool with pure spring water (38-40 centigrade), a nude area and the sauna, which unfortunately is closed currently. Aphrodite Apollon is a larger facility with several pools on different levels, thus there are never too many people around! The hours passed like nothing while I enjoyed bathing and resting in the natural shade of the trees...

Um 18 Uhr hatte ich einen Termin im Marilyn Hair & Beauty (https://www.facebook.com/MarilynSantAngeloDIschia)in Sant
Angelo. Und das war sicherlich kein Zufall: Als ich letzte Woche auf der
winzigen Insel Procida war, hatte es 4 Coiffeursalons aber keiner hatte Zeit...
als ich wusste, dass ich ins Aphrodite Appollon gehen würde, konnte ich
telefonisch einen Termin im Marilyn ergattern - und siehe da: Was zu mir
gehört, kommt zu mir! Ich wurde von Davide aufs Feinste verwöhnt, Apero
(Prosecco und Chips) und geniale Kopfmassage inklusive! : ))
At 6 pm I had an appointment at Marilyn Hair & Beauty (https://www.facebook.com/MarilynSantAngeloDIschia)in Sant Angelo. And that was certainly no coincidence: When I was on the tiny island of Procida last week, there were 4 hairdressers but no one had time... when I knew I was going to spend time in Aphrodite Apollon, I was able to get an appointment at the Marilyn by phone - and lo and behold: What belongs to me comes to me! Davide pampered me in the finest way, including an appetizer (prosecco and chips) and a brilliant head massage! : ))

Es wurde 20:30 Uhr bis ich Davide (ursprünglich aus Georgien) und
Sabrina (Schneider - halb Schweizerin!) verliess. Ich hatte Franco des Hotel La
Gondola bereits angerufen um zu sagen, dass es später wird und ob ich wohl
besser in Sant Angelo etwas essen soll? Aber er insistierte, dass ich unbedingt
zum Abendessen komme, denn heute Abend standen Scampi auf dem Menu - extra für
mich! : ) So nahm ich ein Golfcart-Taxi (http://www.galanotrasporti.com), das mich auf den steilen Wegen so nahe
wie möglich ans La Gondola brachte, wo ich kurz nach 21 Uhr am Tisch sass...

It was 8:30 pm until I left Davide (originally from Georgia) and Sabrina
(Schneider - half Swiss!). I had already called Franco of the Hotel La Gondola
to tell him that it would be getting later and whether I should eat something
in Sant Angelo? But he insisted that I come for dinner because tonight there
was scampi on the menu - especially for me! : ) So I took a golf cart taxi (http://www.galanotrasporti.com) that
drove me on the steep paths as close as possible to the La Gondola, where I sat
at the table shortly after 9 pm...
